Save Our Steam-train (SOS) Campaign

The Vulcan Iron Works Steam Locomotive at the Georgia Agrirama is the only steam locomotive still in regular operation and providing rides to the public in all of the state of Georgia.   Due to severe cuts in the state budget, the Georgia Agrirama has recentely been forced to drastically cut many of the programs offered by the museum.  Unfortunataly, the vintage steam powered train has been hard hit by these budget cuts.  With operating cost running over $200 per day, the steam train that once ran on a daily basis has been forced to only be fired when funds can be raised to support it.  Please consider helping the Georgia Agrirama Save Our Steam-train through your sponsorship of the SOS campaign through the Georgia Agrirama Foundation - a 501 (c) (3) corporation.  All donations are completely tax deductible!

Save Our Steam-train (SOS) Membership Levels:

Agrirama Caboose Club - $20 Annual Dues
Children 12 years and under. This membership level does not receive Associate Membership package benefits. Benefits for the Caboose Club are listed below:

• Official Agrirama Caboose Club Membership Card
• Unlimited Free Train Rides for Member and one Adult Guest for one year* 

Associate Membership (several levels)
All Associate levels (Brakeman and above) receive the Basic Package consisting of:

• An Annual Pass, which provides free admission to the Georgia Agrirama for one year.
• Free Train Rides pulled by the Agrirama Steam Locomotive*
• 10% Discount at the Museum Country Store
• Invitations to Members-Only Events
• Subscription to the foundations newsletter Agrirama Foundation News

Brakeman - $30 Annual Dues (Individual Membership)
Admits one named adult. Includes Basic Package.

Fireman - $60 Annual Dues (Family Membership)
Admits two named adults and member's children or grandchildren (17 and under). Includes Basic Package.

Conductor - $100 Annual Dues (Supporting Membership)
Admits two named adults and member's children or grandchildren (17 and under). Includes Basic Package.

• Admission and Train privileges for an additional four guests
• Special Invitation for two to the annual Behind the Scenes Tour of the Georgia Agrirama.

• All Conductors Benefits plus
• Special Invitation for two to the annual “Friends of the Agrirama” Reception
• A Cab Ride for one person on the Agrirama Steam Locomotive*

Trainmaster - $500 Annual Dues (Supporting Membership)

• All Engineer Benefits plus
• Spend the day as a “Guest Engineer” on the Agrirama Steam Locomotive with the opportunity to drive the locomotive*
• A special edition embroidered “Guest Engineer’s” railroading cap.

Bronze Spike - $750 Annual Dues (Sustaining Membership)

• All Trainmaster Benefits plus
• Special Agrirama Foundation Pin
• Members name on Agrirama Foundation Sponsors Plaque in Museum Lobby

Silver Spike - $1,000 Annual Dues (Sustaining Membership)

• All Bronze Spike Benefits plus

Golden Spike - $2,500 Annual Dues (Sustaining Membership)

• Breakfast with the Museum Executive Director
